Old user having new problem with GPSbabelfe under XP SP3

Philippe Lemaire
Hello all,

I was using version ??? since 2010 to translate LOG files to gpx files...
Today, GPSbabelfe seems to start but doesn't produce any window :-( !
GPSbabel seems OK with a Help page.

Desinstalling the software and installing 1.5.2 produces the same result.
Desabling the anti-virus has no effect.

Am I alone with this problem ?

Best regards,

Philippe

Probably a few million people use (or used) that combination and this issue doesn't sound familiar to me.  So something on your system changed for the worse.

These types of problems are almost always either malware or anti-malware and on Windows, it's hard to tell which is which.😖

If you find a solution , please share.   Of course, if you're on this list and can help, please do.

Does it appear in the Task Bar? If yes it probably moved off screen for
one or the other reason. In this case right click the Task Bar entry and
chose Maximize...
